Sean's Smile

Our third child, a boy was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate in August 2008, a condition that will require at least 5 surgeries, speech therapy and various orthodontic procedures throughout his childhood. Our first two kids were born at home and we are passionate about breastfeeding, gentle parenting and alternatives to allopathic medicine. This blog is a way to share our journey as we marry these two worlds in our attempt to give our precious son the best life we are able.

About Me

My photo
Megan Bassett
I am lucky to get to stay at home to take care of my three kids in the beautiful town of Eugene, OR. My husband Matt and I perform with a local band called "The Sugar Beets" who celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2010.
